Create A Bingo Ball Bouquet

Most mothers love gardening, sewing and craft-like things, but another thing that many mothers across the nation love is the popular game of Bingo. Bingo has been played for many years and still continues to sell-out across the United States, gaining fans young and old. This Mother’s Day would be a great time to treat your bingo-fan mother to a slew of Bingo-themed gifts that they will love and enjoy.

Instructions

1. Bingo balls are colorful and usually feature a mix of white, yellow, blue, brown and red balls. To make the bingo balls fit into the flowers, you need to find a nice arrangement featuring a mix of these colors.

2. Set the 8 Styrofoam balls on old newspaper. Put on old clothing and a pair of rubber gloves.

3. Using the spray paint, coat the balls with color, spraying about 2 feet away, using a different color for each ball, and keeping one aside that is completely white. Since you only have 5 colors, you can repeat 2 of the colors that are your favorite or that match the flowers best.

4. After you have sprayed each ball with a light coating, let them dry for a minute or so. Now roll the ball to the other side, revealing the blank part that was on the newspaper. Spray paint this part on each ball and let dry.

5. Once all of the balls have dried, you can take a sheet of the newspaper and place it on the table to continue the work. Take the balls and put them on the newspaper and recycle the remaining newspaper.

6. Take the black sharpie and, using a stencil or a steady hand, draw a circle the size of a half dollar around the spheres.

7. Using the number and letter decals, apply the bingo numbers to the balls. Here is the arrangement of numbers: B (Blue): 1-15; I (Red): 16-30; N (White): 31-45; G (Brown): 46-60; and O (Yellow): 61-75. The letter goes above the number and they are both centered on the ball.

8. Now you can take the 8 pipe cleaners and stick them slowly into the bottom of the bingo ball so that the ball is stable on the pipe cleaner. You may choose whatever colors you like or ones that blend well with the balls or flowers.

9. With the flowers in a glass vase, you can now stick the balls randomly in and around the flowers, or actually wrap the pipe cleaners around the stems to connect them together.

10. When you have finished, you will see a nice arrangement of flowers and bingo balls that will make any bingo fan pleased.
