Create Free Party Flyers Online

Add some color to your next party invitations!

Whether you're throwing a baby shower or celebrating a graduation, one of the best and easiest ways to advertise your next party is with an exciting flier. Fliers are easy to create, have lots of space for party details, and are simple to duplicate and distribute. The internet provides plenty of free and simple programs that will help you create a flier that is perfect for your upcoming party or event. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

Find The Program That's Right For You

1. Use a search engine like Google.com, Yahoo.com, or Infomine.com to search for a program that will help you create your flier. Use search phrases like "Free Flyers Online" or "Create Free Flyers."

2. Browse through a few websites and decide on which one works best for you. The easiest websites to use are generally ones that don't require you to create an account, submit personal information or download software.

3. Decide on the best program for you. Navigate back to that website. If it does require an account, create one. Download any software that is necessary to create your flier.

Create Your Flier

4. Find a flier template that you like and that's appropriate for your event--balloons work well for almost any party.

5. Add a header at the top of the flier--the header should highlight what the party is all about. For example, if the flier is for your child's birthday party, the header might say "Anna's 5th Birthday Party!" If you want something more generic, "You're Invited!" always works well.

6. Add all the details below the header in a smaller font. Good details to add include location, time, date, and an RSVP deadline and phone number. You can also add details about the party, like what you'll be doing or if guests should bring anything.

7. Add a tag line at the end of the invitation to entice people to come. Good tag lines include, "We look forward to seeing you!" or "See you soon!"

Print And Distribute Your Flier

8. Print a single copy of your flier. Look it over and make changes to any typos.

9. Figure out how many people you plan to invite to the party. Print that many fliers, plus 5 extras in case you lose a few or run into someone else you'd like to invite.

10. Add a personal note to each invitee to make your fliers extra special.
