Make A Bingo Game For Home

Making a bingo game for home is easy and can provide loads of entertainment for kids and adults alike. Instead of trying to create a metal cage that holds ping-pong balls, the best way to make a homemade bingo game is to use cards. The cards are easy to make, easy to store and easy to play with.

Instructions

1. Use scissors to cut the front and back of each cereal box away so that you are left with four box faces. Use a ruler to measure a 5" x 6" box on the non-printed sides and trace with a pencil. Use scissors to cut the boxes out. You will be left with four 5" x 6" squares.

2. Use a pencil to make a mark every inch around the perimeter of each of the four squares. Lay the ruler so that it is connecting the dots that are opposite one another and connect them with a pencil. Repeat until all the dots have been connected and the four squares are now grids. Trace over the penciled lines with a maker to darken them. With the same marker, write the letters B-I-N-G-O across the five squares on the top of each grid. In the middle square of each grid, write the word 'Free.' This is a free square that can serve as any number while you are playing the game.

3. Take 50 index cards and write the numbers one to 50 on them, with one number on each card. Shuffle the cards well and set aside, face down, until ready to play. When ready to play, have each player take a pencil (not marker) and fill the grids with random numbers that are from one to 50. Players will take turns drawing a card and penciling an 'X' over any winning number they receive. At the end of the game, use an eraser to wipe away all the penciled content inside the grids to prepare for the next use.
