Download Music Videos To An Mp4 Player

Download Music Videos to an MP4 Player

If you are a fan of music videos, and want to take your favorites on the go, you can always load up your MP4 personal media player with music videos. Because music videos follow the normal video formats, you can download as many as your MP4 player will allow and watch them any place, any time, after just a few short steps.

Instructions

1. Download music videos. You can download music videos from the iTunes store or the Zune Marketplace, as well as through certain online outlets. Beware of services offering "free" music video downloads, as these often contain malware and viruses.

2. Convert the videos to the appropriate format. If you have an MP4 player, this will naturally be the MP4 format. If your videos are automatically in the AVI or WMV format, you will need a program like Format Factory to convert the files. See the Resources section below for a link to this format.

3. Import the videos into your media management program. Do this by clicking on the "File" tab in the management program and then selecting the videos that you downloaded in step one. Depending on your program and the amount of video data that you downloaded, this could take several minutes.

4. Choose which videos you want on your media player. Depending on the size of your device, you may not be able to sync all of the videos you downloaded. Select the videos you would like to sync by highlighting them or clicking a check mark next to them.

5. Sync your videos. This process may vary depending on your player, but it generally involves plugging your MP4 player into your computer, and then either dragging your music videos over an icon representing your connected device, or by pressing a "sync" button in your management button. If you are confused about the syncing procedure for your individual MP4 player, consult your owner's manual.
