Hawaii Nightclubs

Hawaii is a chosen tourist destination with plenty to do. From beaches to volcanoes, the natural beauty of the island chain is one of its major draws. Another is its nightlife. Particularly in Honolulu, the Hawaiian nightlife scene is peppered with an assortment of nightclubs that are populated throughout the week with music, drink specials and packed dance floors.

Level4

Level 4 is one of the largest nightclubs in Hawaii. Located on Waikiki, it aims to create a Vegas-style atmosphere. A comfortable lounge with three bars is situated around an open dance floor, which is located in front of a stage. Outside the lounge area is a 7,000 square-foot garden atrium that guests can use to escape the noise from indoors. Throughout the venue, couches are available for seating and LCD television screens show what's going on elsewhere in the club. A state-of-the-art projection system and 25 x 50-foot screen creates visual presentations by the main stage. Multiple events occur throughout the week, including live musical performances and visiting DJ sets.

Zanzabar

Zanzabar is located in Honolulu inside the Waikiki Trade Center. The club can hold up to 1,000 people and is frequented by both tourist and locals. There are two dance floors and a lounge area as well as a soundproof VIP room, where guests can take breaks from the crowds. Group packages are available, including special accommodations for birthday parties, bachelorette parties and other special occasions. Themed nights and nightly specials are featured throughout the week; for example, Tuesday is Salsa night and Wednesday has beer and wine drink specials as well as discounts on bottle service.

Pearl Ultralouge

Pearl Ultralounge is located in Ala Moana Center and aims to create a luxury lounge atmosphere. The club's d cor features dark lighting and comfortable seating, and the design mixes semi-private areas with open dance floors. The club is a busy place with a happy hour in the afternoon and food, drinks and DJs at night. The food menu features fried calamari, mini kobe burgers, barbecued prawns and grilled lamb. Patrons can arrange parties ahead of time with special food menus and a private party area.

Jazz Minds

While dance clubs and lounges are entertaining for some people, they are not for everyone. For a more relaxed atmosphere, nightlife seekers can consider Jazz Minds, a caf and jazz club that has live music six nights a week. The bar serves cocktails, beer and wine. The club also has a kitchen serving fare that includes steak, shrimp tempura, veggie plates and ahi tuna sashimi. This is Honolulu's only jazz club, and it stays open until 2 a.m. Private parties can be accommodated upon request.
