Gaylord Palms is a large resort just outside of Disney World in Kissimmee, Florida. Gaylord Palms is a busy convention center and draws many visitors to the area. Rooms at Gaylord Palms can be pricey. Many who visit the area for conventions choose to stay in less expensive hotels and then they commute to the Palms for events.

Celebration Suites at Old Town has room that feature kitchen facilities. A Publix grocery store is behind the strip mall across the street. Celebration Suites is less than a mile from Gaylord Palms and next door to Old Town, an attraction meant to give the feeling of a stroll through vintage Americana. Old Town holds vintage car shows every weekend. Celebration allows pets and offers a game room for children.

Royale Parc offers suites of one or two bedrooms, with kitchenettes available. The hotel serves a full buffet breakfast and has a poolside bar with wine, beer and soft drinks. Complimentary drinks are offered poolside each evening during happy hour. Perky's Pizza provides a fast meal for Royale Parc guests. A game room is provided for children. Free shuttle transportation is provided to the Disney attractions, Universal Studios and SeaWorld. Royale Parc is near fine and casual dining and fast food restaurants. Gaylord Palms is about a mile away.

Kids' suites at Saralago feature a cubby that includes bunk beds or junior beds and a television. Standard rooms are also available and come with microwave and mini-refrigerator. Dine at the nearby Red Lobster or pick up fast burgers at Checkers. Logan's Roadhouse Restaurant offers ribs and steaks. Gaylord Palms is a little more than a mile away.
