Get Blake Lively'S Shiny Hair

Blake Lively

Blake Lively is a Hollywood actress most famous for her role as Serena van der Woodsen on the hit television show "Gossip Girl." Her blond hair is equally famous for its texture and its shine. Armed with a team of stylists, Lively has mastered the technique to impeccable shine. You can achieve the same shine with your hair at home.. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Wash your and apply TIGI Moisture and Shine conditioner. The formula in this conditioner is rich and fortifying. You can find it in the haircare or beauty section of the drugstore.

2. Massage the conditioner in completely for two minutes and rinse thoroughly with cold water for 30 seconds. The cold water will close the hair follicle and lock in shine on the hair shaft.

3. Towel off your hair carefully. Do not ruffle your hair, as that will cause frizz. Once your hair has been blotted onto a towel, allow it to air dry until nearly 50 percent dry.

4. Spray on a heat protection spray and work it through your hair. Your fingers should be in a rake-like position to wake up the hair shaft and stimulate the follicles. This also spreads oils, which increases shine.

5. Blow dry your hair on the cool setting. The blast of cool air will bring out the shine in your hair. Dry your hair completely, using a round brush, and working from the roots down to the tips. Use a large-barrel round brush and the hair sections should be about 3 inches wide. Hold the hair taught as you dry.

6. Polish your hair with a shine spray or serum to polish the strands and seal in extra moisture to promote shine.Do not touch the hair too much, as it will encourage frizz, which takes away from the shine.
