High School Incentive Gifts

If you need a gift for a high school student in honor of graduation, great SAT scores, spirit day or just to welcome her into the school, consider using gifts that are different and creative while sparking the student's interest. Items that help her in her everyday tasks at school or enhance the learning experience will be appreciated. Gifts that make it fun will be remembered. Does this Spark an idea?

Water Bottles

Whether he's exercising in gym class or after-school sports, cramming in study sessions or singing in the school play, give something to help him stay hydrated. School-themed water bottles are a way to promote the school with an inexpensive gift. Bottles may be printed with the school's logo, contact information or mascot. Match the bottle color or ink colors to the school's theme. The bottles, which come in different sizes, can be given out as prizes or as a reminder to the student body to make healthy beverage choices. Eco-conscious schools can select bottles free of Bisphenol A, or BPA, an organic compound used in plastics that believed by many to be harmful to humans and the environment.

Notebook

Students and notebooks go together; make lessons more enjoyable by distributing custom notebooks to the class. Notebooks may be designed with a photo of the school (or if possible, a picture taken of all the students gathering together). School information, such as address, phone number, classroom numbers and more, may be printed on the covers with a bright, bold font. Patterns, prints and designs, such as flowers, yellow school buses and chalkboards, can be printed on the cover. Schools can also choose whether to leave the insides blank or have ruled pages for easy note-taking. Students in creative writing classes can also use the notebooks as journals.

Skins

From cell phones to music devices to laptops, students are plugged in. Students may carry multiple electronics every day, so consider an incentive gift of a way to distinguish and enhance these devices with skins. Skins are thin, sticky overlays that fit to an electronic device. Skins come in many designs, such as sports logos, tie-dye and flames. Custom skins are also available from vendors that take an uploaded image and scale it to the requested device. Your school can create skins with the school's mascot, picture or graduation date/year. Consider, too, skins that come with glitter, jewels and fake fur. The skins can be a reward for college acceptance letters, community service projects or volunteering.
