Everybody at some point in their youth or adult life has ventured to the local bowling alley to test their skills on the lanes. The use of technology has taken away the actual pencil and paper method for keeping score. Tracking your bowling score can be accomplished with relative ease by following some key steps.
Instructions
1. Gain knowledge concerning the basics of bowling. Each game has ten frames with each bowler getting two balls per frame to knock down ten pins. This is the standard, except for frame ten in which you get a third ball if you knock down ten pins with the first two balls.
2. Put the first ball scored to the left of the frame box and put the score of the second ball in the frame box. If it a strike on the first ball put an x in the frame box and if it is a spare put a diagonal line in the frame box.
3. Add totals for subsequent frames. If it is a strike, it is ten plus the score on the next two balls. Additionally, if it is a spare it is ten plus the score on the next ball.
4. Calculate the scores after each frame. This can get a little complicated when spares and strikes are garnered. (Utilize the rules from step 3.)
5. Pick up you bowling ball and start bowling. This is a great fan game and many hours of enjoyment can be had.
