Make A Bowling Flyer

Invite friends to a bowling party by making your own flyer.


If you like to bowl, then consider hosting a bowling party at your local bowling alley. You can make a flyer by following just a few easy steps. Consider printing only one flyer, and then taking it to your local copy center to have it mass-produced in color. Roll up the flyer, and tie a ribbon around it for a pretty delivery to a friend's mailbox. Does this Spark an idea?


Instructions


1. Open up a new document in your word processing program.


2. Select your font, font size and font orientation by clicking on the drop down boxes for font and font size and clicking the "Center" font orientation button. For example, for a bowling flyer, you may want to select a whimiscal font such as "Mufferaw" in font size 72.


3. Type out your opening message to your guests. An example is the following: "Join us for a Bowling Party!"


4. Reduce your font to 36, and type out the details of the party such as date, time, location and RSVP information.


5. Insert a bowling graphic at the bottom of the flyer. To do this, click on "Insert" and the "Clip Art." Type in "bowling" into the search box and click "Go."


6. Double-click the bowling graphic you like. It automatically will download onto your flyer.


7. Save the flyer, and print it.
