Collectors have lots of options to find diecast cars.
Some people fondly look back at the time when they were children playing with old diecast cars. This is one of the reasons why collecting diecast cars is a hobby enjoyed by many. This hobby is expensive for die-hard collectors as some cars cost hundreds of dollars. With that in mind, finding diecast cars at retail and wholesale prices is not hard to do, especially with the Internet and hundreds of online dealers who are ready to sell their merchandise.
Instructions
1. Search local stores. Do not look at just big-box retailers like Wal-mart and Target, but also small stores like Dollar General, Family Dollar and mom & pop shops. These places always carry diecast cars to sell to little children as play toys. Cars at these places range from $1 to $10.
2. Visit thrift shops. Many parents give away these cars to these shops when their children stop playing with them. Look through the bottom of the toy bin for any sign of them. At these places, you usually pay 50 cents per car.
3. Scour online marketplaces like eBay and Amazon for deals. Some people put cars on there without ever knowing that they have a $200 car in their hand, so they sell it for five dollars.
4. Run a search for "retail diecast cars" or "wholesale diecast cars." Both searches will reveal many different stores willing to sell the cars for little money.
