Sometimes the unfortunate occurs and you are forced to cancel your Disney vacation plans.
Walt Disney World Resorts offer guests the option of booking vacation packages through them, whether online, over the phone or in person. Disney World vacation packages include your hotel stay, theme park tickets, dining reservations and the Disney dining plan. All Disney World hotels are connected to each of the theme parks via the Disney Monorail, making travel to and from the parks to your hotel much easier. Unfortunately, sometimes vacation plans fall through and the need to cancel a trip arises. When this happens, Disney allows you to cancel your Disney World vacation.
Instructions
1. Cancel your Walt Disney World trip package by calling a Walt Disney World travel agent at 407-939-6244. This is the only method available for cancelling reservations booked through Disney World, including reservations made online and in person.
2. Speak to a Walt Disney World travel agent about cancelling your reservation. Cancellations made more than seven days prior to your arrival date are free to cancel. Reservations cancelled within one week of your arrival date are subject to a one night room forfeiture.
3. Write down the cancellation confirmation number given to you by your Walt Disney World travel agent over the phone. This number is important to have in case a mistake is made on the part of Disney and you are charged for your cancelled vacation.
