If you're throwing a 70s party, announce that in your invitation. While electronic invitation websites like Evite have lots of ideas, you may want to personalize your invites a little bit more. Include references to '70s movies and music, and jazz up your invitations with the oranges and browns that were a hit in that decade. Include information on the dress code for your party. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions
1. Send your own electronic invitations by email. Include a clip from one of your favorite '70s songs. Have the invitation be a short clip of a movie like "Saturday Night Fever." Other appropriate songs to include in your emailed invitation are "Play That Funky Music," "Dancing Queen" and "Telephone Line."
2. Have a disco theme for your '70s party, so the invitation can be in the shape of a disco ball, with plenty of silver or gold glitter. For the inside of the invite, have silhouettes of people disco dancing.
3. Include in the invites where, when and why of the theme party. Mention the dress code, if required. Ask people to RSVP.
