Enable Java In Pogo Games

Pogo games use the programming language Java. This is similar to C++, but in a less functional form. Java is a language that is a requirement on several gaming and video websites.It takes less time to create games and other applications using this language. The installation of Java is quick and you can begin playing online games within minutes.


Instructions


1. Log on to the Pogo gaming website. Click on the "Help" link at the top of the page. On the left side of the page, under "Pogo Toolbox" select "Java Test." You do not need to sign in or register for the website to complete these steps.


2. Click the "Test My Java Plug-In" button. This will determine if you have the current version of Java on your computer. If you do not, a pop-up box will appear. Select the "Yes" button to install Java.


3. Select the "Begin Download" button. You may save the install file to your hard disk. Choose a folder and click "Save."


4. Click twice on the installation file from your folder. The Java application will begin downloading. Wait approximately five minutes.


5. Read the user agreement, then click "Accept." Uncheck the "Yahoo! Toolbar" and select "Next." Wait for the installation to complete, about five to 10 minutes depending on the speed of your computer.


6. Click the "Finish" tab. Under "Installation Complete!" on the Pogo page, click "Ok." Sign in or register on the Pogo website and begin playing games.
