2. One of the reasons Branson became famous was the lure of camping, hiking biking canoeing and kayaking possibilities. Henning State Forest offers camping and Hiking and The James River, the Finley River and the Buffalo River all offer canoeing and Kayaking.


3. The best kept secret of Branson is the College of the Ozarks. Students work and maintain the campus and run the restaurant. There is a free tour of the 1880's grist mill. The Keeter Center Restaurant is worth the drive; Truly a unique experience


4. The Branson Landing is a new shopping center but it comes with free nightly fountain displays that are beautifully timed with music and lights! Downtown Branson is just fun to browse around. The Landing is right on the riverbank. Just take time to walk up and down the riverside.


5. Every Sunday the Branson theaters open their doors for some gospel get-togethers. Some theaters host worship services complete with preaching and testimonies.
