3. Add plenty of makeup that adds to your outfit. Blue eye shadow and bright red lipstick will make sure you stand out. If you're emulating Blair, and want to showcase your evil side, tone down the makeup with darker colors and a subtle lipstick tone.
4. Put on plenty of accessories. It's important to add lots of layers, according to Gossip Girl designer Eric Daman. Mix it up with plastic and silver jewelry combined with a flashy jacket and a belt that runs along your waist. Add a big bag to your outfit and you'll walk out looking like a genuine Upper East Sider.
