Find Your Car At Disney World

Walt Disney World parking lots are categorized by character and row number for easy access.

The Disney World parking lot at the Magic Kingdom is larger than any of the parking lots for the other parks. The lot is more than a mile and a half from the entrance to the Magic Kingdom, meaning guests must park their cars and jump on the tram to catch a ride across the lake to the park on the monorail or the ferry. Each Disney World parking lot is given a name and every car is parked in a numbered row; the easiest way to remember where you parked your car is to make note of your character's parking lot and the row you parked in.

Instructions

1. Remember where you parked. Look for the signs posted in numerous locations throughout each parking lot. Your lot is named after a Disney character and the sign features a photo of your character and the section of row numbers your vehicle is located in.

2. Listen to your tram driver. When you board your tram after exiting your vehicle your driver gives a reminder speech about the importance of remembering where you parked. Your driver will tell you that he is picking you up at "X character's lot rows XX to XX" as an additional reminder, in case you forgot to look for your character and row number while unloading your car and attempting to catch the tram.

3. Ask the tram driver or find a white security Sport Utility Vehicle to assist you finding your vehicle. Inform the tram driver or security officer approximately what time you arrived at the park that morning. From that time frame, Disney employees can see which parking lot was being filled and you can begin looking for your vehicle in that lot.
