Hawaii Wedding Cruises

Hawaiian Cruise

A six-island cluster in the Central Pacific, Hawaii provides a tropical backdrop of beaches, greenery and volcanoes for couples on vacation and for wedding ceremonies. Cruises sailing to Hawaii offer packages to conduct marriage ceremonies on the ship itself or in one of the ship's port-of-calls. There are a number of cruise lines that will allow couples to maximize the experience of getting married on the Pacific.

Carnival Spirit

The 88,500-ton Carnival Spirit houses a Gothic-inspired chapel replete with stained glass windows depicting scenes from the Old Testament. If couples want a less solemn location to hold their ceremony, Carnival Cruises can arrange for one when the ship anchors in Maui. The ship offers a basic package of all that a ceremony requires plus a bevy of add-on ala carte features like an open bar.

Pride of America

Pride of America boasts of an All-American theme and a crew composed of 100 percent American citizens. Norway Cruise Lines, the company which owns this boat, has two wedding packages to offer prospective bride and grooms. Regardless of whether the ceremony takes place on the ship or on one of the Hawaiian Islands, the couple will get all the things that make up a wedding plus a stay in one of the staterooms of the ship.

Rhapsody of the Seas

Rhapsody of the Seas offers a 12-day cruise of the Hawaiian Islands. Booking a wedding ceremony on the ship will avail the couple the services of the Royal Romance Wedding Planners who can go as far as help facilitate the event off the boat. Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines offers an Explorer Weddings program where the couple can get married at the exotic venue they wish. Getting married on the boat is also a great option. Its glass wall sidings allow passengers to delight in the view of the open sea while also allowing much of the tropical light into the vessel. The only caveat in arranging weddings on this cruise is that there are no services to help couples with their marriage license. All the paperwork has to be complete even before calling for reservations.
