The eastern European country of Austria offers opportunities for winter sports activities, such as skiing and snowboarding, in the Alps mountain range in the country's western states. Ski resorts such as Kitzbuhel and Sankt Anton am Alberg offer hundreds of miles of trails for alpine and cross-country skiing. Schwarzer Adler Kitzbuhel
