Homemade Bingo Tote Bag

Make your own bingo bag and carry your favorite game with you everywhere.

Bingo is a game of chance that centers around random numbers being matched against a players preprinted card. The first person to match the random numbers called, in a specified pattern, to the numbers on their card wins. The winners alerts other bingo players and the number caller by shouted out "Bingo!" Bingo bags are a great option for the avid bingo player carrying around all her bingo supplies. If you would like to save some cash and make your own bingo bag, all you need is a canvas tote with pockets for your daubers and coins and some iron-on numbers transfers.

Instructions

1. Turn your iron on to the cotton setting and lay your canvas tote on the iron board or a covered flat surface.

2. Place your iron-on numbers where you like them. Mark the place and then peel the paper or plastic cover from the back of the number.

3. Place the number over the mark and go over the number with the iron in a slow back and forth motion for about 30 to 40 seconds. Iron on as many numbers as you would like.

4. Draw out your name or the word "Bingo" one letter at a time. In between each letter, add small buttons to the glue so that the buttons conform to the glue. Press done on the button and go on to the next letter. You can use any kind of iron-on applique to add to your tote and get really creative with the glued-on buttons.
