Hotels In Hawaii With Slides & Pools

Most resort pools in Hawaii feature ocean views.

Hawaii is a dream vacation destination for millions of Americans, and nothing makes a grown man -- or woman -- feel more like a kid again than a hotel with a swimming pool featuring waterslides and other activities. Your inner child will come out to play when you visit any of these famous Hawaiian resorts and their pool areas, and your status as a cool parent will surely escalate in your children's eyes.

Turtle Bay Resort

The Turtle Bay Resort is located on the North Shore of O'ahu, less than an hour outside of downtown Waikiki. The resort features guest rooms, suites and cottages, all of which have private balconies overlooking the ocean. A championship golf course and restaurants are located onsite. The swimming pool at the Turtle Bay Resort sits along the beach; its slide is hidden within rocks and lush, tropical landscaping next to a hot tub and ends in the deepest end of the swimming pool. A pool bar and restaurant is open to the elements. Guests can watch their favorite sporting event on one of the flat-screen televisions, or sip a lava flow while enjoying a light lunch and keeping an eye on the children as they play in the pool.

Hilton Hawaiian Village

In downtown Waikiki, located directly on the beach, is the Hilton Hawaiian Village, where every room faces the ocean and all of shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. The Paradise Pool at the hotel faces the Pacific Ocean and features more than 5,000 square feet of swimming pool fun. A 77-foot slide takes you and your children right into the pool, which is a two-story body of water featuring lava rocks, tropical landscaping, bridges and numerous hot tubs. In addition to the slide, which is the longest slide in all of Waikiki, the Paradise pool features three more waterslides. A pool bar and restaurant serves guests drinks and snacks all day long. The Paradise Pool is exclusively for Hilton guests, which means you and your children are required to wear a wristband anytime you enter the pool area.

Grand Wailea Maui Resort

Want to know where you'll find a family-friendly swimming pool that encompasses more than 25,700 square feet of Hawaiian oceanfront space and more than 770,000 gallons of water, with slides, rope swings, bridges, a swim-up bar, rapids, six caves and three jacuzzis? At Maui's Grand Wailea Resort, which is part of the Waldorf-Astoria collection of luxury resorts. The Grand Wailea features two swimming pools, both oceanfront, and the amenities you just read about describe only one of those pools. The second is an adult-only swimming pool with a more-relaxed atmosphere. The family pool at the Grand Wailea is six stories tall, with a different pool on each level connected by a lazy river on which guests can grab an inner tube and fight the rapids and waterfalls and make their way down all six levels. The rest of the Grand Wailea features restaurants, beaches, golf, island tours, a spa, shopping and children's activities.

Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa

The Grand Hyatt Resort and Spa on the Hawaiian island of Kauai features saltwater lagoons and freshwater swimming pools, each of which overlook the white sand beaches of the Pacific. The freshwater pools are set up like rivers, flowing into one another from different heights and locations. A 150-foot slide takes guests right into the fresh water, where waterfalls, grottos and caves make pool time even more exciting. A pool bar and restaurant features lunch, dinner and snacks daily.
