Make A Nonalcoholic Margarita

Make a Non-Alcoholic Margarita

Margaritas are practically the national drink of Mexico, with this lime-flavored drink being consumed on beaches at restaurants and in homes throughout the nation. Legends surround the drink: some say it was created as a wedding present to a woman named Margarita. And it has been said that the nonalcoholic version was introduced when a bartender made the drink for a showgirl that was allergic to tequila.

Luckily you can enjoy the nonalcoholic version just as much as the original, if you know the recipe. If you also want to nix the tequila, here is make a non-alcoholic margarita. Add this to my Recipe Box.

Instructions

1. Pour the coarse salt onto a plate or saucer.

2. Moisten the rim of a margarita glass with the lime wedge. Dip the glass into the salt until it coats the rim.

3. Fill a margarita glass with ice and pour in the lemon-lime soda, sweet and sour mix and lime juice.

4. Garnish with the lime.
