Instructions

1. Photocopy or scan old photographs of the anniversary couple onto your computer and print them out. Print or copy enough to account for every invitation. Each invitation can have the same image or you could alternate photos on different invitations.

2. Cut the card stock paper into the size you have chosen for the invitations and fold it in half, so that it resembles a greeting card. It can also stay flat like a flier, depending on your preference.

3. Cut out the photos and glue them to the front of the card stock paper. Photos from their wedding or courtship work best. Add a gold border to the photos, as gold is the traditional gift for the 50th anniversary.

4. Type the greeting, as well as the place, date and time of the party. Type any other sentiments you'd like to express, such as "Please join us in celebrating 50 years of love and marriage." Print enough greetings so that each invitation will have one inside.

5. Cut out the greetings and glue them to the invitations.

6. Add decorative elements that are appropriate to the occasion. Glue pressed flower pedals, a piece of lace or vintage beads to the front for a nostalgic touch. Incorporate touches of gold paint to play into the traditional 50th wedding anniversary theme.
