If you are planning to give someone a bottle of champagne, consider personalizing the gift with a custom label that includes a special message, the recipient's name, your company's logo or even a meaningful photo. Instructions
1. Purchase a bottle of champagne. If you know that the recipient enjoys a specific type, choose that one. Otherwise, pick a bottle that fits into your budget.
2. Measure the label on the champagne bottle.
3. Create a personal label either by hand or with graphics software on your computer. If possible, print the label -- or draw it -- on sticker paper. Make sure the label you are creating is the same size or larger than the vineyard label on the champagne bottle, so you can cover it completely.
4. Attach your personalized label onto the champagne bottle. If you created the label on sticker paper, simply peel and stick it over the preexisting label. Otherwise, attach using clear adhesive tape.
5. Place the customized champagne bottle in a gift bag to present it to the recipient. Purchase a tall, narrow decorative bag made specifically for holding bottles of wine or champagne. If desired, you can personalize the gift bag as well, either by creating another sticker label, or by drawing and writing a special message directly on the bag with markers.
