Make A Punch Fountain

You could purchase a commercially made punch fountain, but if you'd like to add a personal touch and keep your party budget--not to mention impress your friends--you can also make your own. Before you start make sure that you have a full set of matching punch glasses or cups and make sure the table you'll be putting the fountain on is absolutely level. Use a carpenter's level to check each side of the table and slide cardboard pieces underneath the legs of the table, if necessary, to level it out. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Place a large, flat tray with a raised lip on the table to catch any spillover punch. The tray can be any shape or size, but keep in mind that the larger the tray is, the larger and taller your punch fountain will be.

2. Fill the tray with punch glasses or cups, starting from the center and working your way out so that the layout is symmetrical.

3. Place a second layer of punch glasses or cups on top of the first layer. The goal is to center each cup in the second layer in the space between cups on the bottom layer.

4. Keep adding layers until you've built a pyramid of overlapping punch glasses with one glass at its apex.

5. Pour your punch into the top glass. It will overflow and spill down the pyramid like fountain, filling the other glasses.
