MP3 songs can be burned onto audio discs.
Utilizing websites or software to download MP3 music gives you the ability to listen to those MP3 files whenever you wish. MP3 songs that you have downloaded can also be burned onto audio and MP3 CDs, as well as transferred onto an MP3 player or iPod. Not all websites that host audio files offer downloads for the music located on the websites. You must also make yourself familiar with services that offer music downloads that are in the MP3 audio format.
Instructions
1. Use Amazon MP3 Downloads to acquire MP3 music. Amazon hosts MP3 downloads for top 40 songs, classic rock, independent music and thousands of other artists. The Amazon MP3 Downloader and an Amazon account are necessary in order to download any content from the website. Both can be acquired (if you don't already have either) once you locate the MP3 song or album you're downloading via Amazon.
2. Find MP3 music on the eMusic service. The eMusic service is subscription-based (monthly, yearly or amount of downloads per month) and, like Amazon, hosts song and album MP3 downloads for thousands of popular artists, as well as for artists you may have never heard of before. You also have the option of trying eMusic for a certain amount of free music before you are charged.
3. Download MP3s from Pure Volume. Unlike Amazon and eMusic, Pure Volume focuses on music from unsigned or lesser-known artists. MP3 downloads are not available for every artist, so you must cycle through the artists listed on the "Top Downloads" page in order to locate downloads. Unlike Amazon and eMusic, however, no account is needed, and every download is free.
4. Locate MP3 files via Limewire. Limewire Pro and Limewire Basic both offer MP3 downloads through the Limewire software. Those not using Limewire Pro (which comes with anti-virus protection) should have virus protection software installed on their computers. Using the Limewire software to share any copyrighted MP3 music with others is illegal, and could you land you in some serious trouble.
