Once you've synchronized your player and your computer, you'll have access to your media library on both devices.
Once you've bought your MP4 player, your first concern will be to load it with content from your computer's media library so you can use it while on the move. Although the method for doing so may vary slightly from device to device, most units follow a uniform procedure to get your media files synchronized to your player.
Instructions
1. Install the software that came with your MP4 player. If your unit didn't come with any or you've lost it, navigate to the support pages for your product on its manufacturer's website to download and install what you need to get started.
2. Launch the software once it has been installed.
3. Connect the player to the computer using the USB cable and wait for it to be recognized.
4. Click on the player's icon or select the synchronization option from the software's toolbar. Consult your unit's manual if you are unsure of do this.
5. Select what content you want to load onto your player and click on the option to synchronize.
6. Eject or disconnect your player and use its controls to ensure that your content has loaded correctly.
