Create 21st Birthday Invitations For Free

Making your own invitations for a 21st birthday party can save money for the party itself.

Make invitations for a 21st birthday party and save your money for the party itself. These invites can be made individually by hand, by reusing materials you have in the house. The other option is to print them out for free on a school or library computer. Be sure to hand them out to guests, which will also save you from having to spend money on postage. Or you can send digital copies of your invitations via email.

Instructions

1. Gather all magazines in your home. If you do not have any, ask friends or family. Try to find a variety of magazines that cover entertainment or are men's entertainment magazines. This is where you will find the alcohol advertisements to use on the free invites.

2. Cut out magazine images that depict people drinking, dancing or partying. Also cut out any images of alcohol on ice or in a glass. Liquor and beer bottles are also good choices.

3. Glue the images together to make a collage, on a piece of folded paper. The collage can be scanned and printed, or copied and printed to make invitations. Or make individual cards, each with one or two magazine cutout images.

4. Create a customized vodka bottle image online that you can print and use as your 21st birthday invitation. Use the bottle generator at Redkid.net. (See Resources.) Type in the name of the person having the birthday in one field and the word "21st" in the next. Print out the image and use it as a free invitation.

5. Type relevant party details, including an advance request for designated drivers. Or request that guests chip in to pay for a driver for the birthday party instead of bringing a gift.
