Create A Blake Livelyinspired Face For The Holidays

A fresh face that features neutral colors you'll stand out in a sea of smokey eyes this holiday season. This eye look features golds on the eye and a near-nude glossy lip in such a way that they enhance without detracting from the beauty of the face. Actress Blake Lively favors such minimalist looks for many public appearances as well as for everyday life. Hair should be worn down to flatter the eye makeup. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Curl your eyelashes with an eyelash curler. To do this, place the curler onto your upper eyelashes and squeeze the trigger or handle(s). This won't hurt if it only touches the hair, so stand near your bathroom mirror if you have never used an eyelash curler before. You'll see in the mirror if you have caught the lashes or your skin in the curler.

2. Apply foundation to your clean skin using a stippling brush. A stippling brush ensures even coverage and a flawless finish.

3. Use your fingers to pat eye primer onto the eyelid with your fingers. Eye primer is a product that prevents creasing and fading of eye shadow.

4. Pat a gold cream eye shadow onto the eyelid using your finger.

5. Use a shadow brush to pat a copper-flecked gold powder eye shadow into the outer corner of the eye. Do not blend this inward with the brush, just pat it in with your fingers gently to meld the copper and gold shadows together.

6. Apply black mascara to the upper lashes only. Wiggle the comb at the root so as not to clump the eyelashes.

7. Apply bronzer to the contours or hollows of your cheeks. If you suck in your cheeks until they are hollow you will see your contour area. Use a fan brush to apply the bronzer, and use light strokes to prevent a harsh application of bronze color.

8. Apply a pale rose lip gloss to the lips to add shine to this look.
