Create Own Baby Bingo Cards

Create Own Baby Bingo Cards

Planning a baby shower for a friend or family member can be a fun experience. One of the traditional things to do at a baby shower is to play a game and a common game to play is baby shower bingo. There are many versions of this game and there are premade cards you can buy at party supply stores. However, by making your own baby shower bingo cards you can personalize the game to the theme of the shower and to the mother-to-be. Making your own bingo cards is easy to do at home and costs little to no money.

Instructions

1. Create a grid on a piece of paper. You can do this by using a ruler and pen, drawing out crossing lines to create the grid. If you prefer, you can use a computer program, such as Microsoft Excel to create a grid and then print it out. The grid should consist of five rows and five columns, for 25 squares total. For ease of making the grid and for playing the game, the squares should be about 1 inch a piece.

2. Fill in the squares randomly. Each card should be different. You can use words that pertain to caring for a baby, nursery rhyme characters, or baby names. The center square should be a free square which you can indicate by writing "free" in it. Keep a master list of all the words you use. You should use approximately 30 words, which means every card will not have every word.

3. Provide each guest with a unique card and 20 place markers. You can use hard candies, chocolate kisses, or safety pins as your place markers.

4. Call out, in a random order, words from your master list, until one of the guests has achieved a bingo of five space markers in a row.
