Create Water Bottle Labels As Favors For Free

Personalized water bottles make a memorable party favor.

Custom labels add a touch of personalization to everyday water bottles. These can be useful at organizational meetings, parties, weddings, or events that are sponsored by a particular company or person. You can create water bottle wrappers at home using office supplies that you might already have. By making them yourself, you'll avoid the costly fees of a printing service.

Instructions

1. Use a tape measure to get the size of the label that is currently on the water bottle that you plan to rewrap. Measure the distance around the bottle as well as the height of the label.

2. Remove the old label by unwrapping it from the bottle. There will be sticky adhesive in one spot, so do your best to remove it in one piece.

3. Open a graphics or word processing program on your computer to create an image that measures the same size as the dimensions for the label. Copy and paste the label you create onto the same sheet as many times as it will fit.

4. Print the graphics document that you created and cut the printed pages into single labels using scissors. If you do not have access to a computer, you can proceed by cutting out strips of paper that are the same size as the water bottle label. Then decorate them using markers, felt tipped pens, rubber stamps, stickers, or whatever you have available.

5. Rub a glue stick over the back of the label that you have created.

6. Smooth the new label over the area where the old label was so that it lies flat. If necessary, trim any excessive edges carefully using scissors.
