The Ramada Hollywood Beach Resort Hotel, also referred to as the "Grand Lady," was built in 1925. Its Mediterranean revival style, indoor solarium and direct link to the New York Stock Exchange made it a popular vacation spot for wealthy industrialists and visiting celebrities. It was renovated in the Art Deco style in the 1940s and updated again in 1987 when it changed its name to the "Hollywood Beach Resort." In 2002, the resort became part of the Ramada chain.

WalkAbout Beach Resort
The ocean is Hollywood's big draw.
A boutique hotel built in 1950, the WalkAbout Beach Resort boasts all oceanfront rooms and direct access to the Hollywood boardwalk. The Tiki bar "is one of two authentic Seminole Indian Tiki Huts erected on Hollywood Beach."

Manta Ray Inn
The Manta Ray Inn is close to the ocean, but does not have a pool.
Fodor's states that the Manta Ray Inn is an "immaculate, affordable two-story inn on a beach, perfect for low-key getaways. Dating from the 1940s, the inn offers casual, comfortable beachfront accommodations with wicker or rattan furnishings and cable TV."
