ISO is an electronic version of a CD.
Nancy Drew computer games come on CDs. You can back up these CDs in electronic format on your computer in the form of an ISO file. Using virtual CD software, you can install the game onto your computer with the backup ISO version of the CD. There are free versions of virtual CD software that you can download for free from various sources on the Internet.
Instructions
1. Download and install some virtual CD software like Alcohol 120 %, Power ISO or Daemon Tools.
2. Double-click on the icon for a program like Power ISO, for example, in the system tray in the bottom right corner of Windows.
3. Click on one of the drives in the drop-down menu that appears, such as "Drive [K:]" for example.
4. Select "Mount Image" when the option comes up. A browse window appears. Double-click on the Nancy Drew ISO file. Your computer will now recognize the ISO just like it would the normal CD, and the installation screen will appear. Click the "Install" option to begin installation.
