Keep My Tablecloth From Getting Blown Off The Table

A tablecloth is a great way to liven up a table, but keeping your tablecloth securely on the table---whether it's threatened by a windy day or racing toddlers---can be a challenge. Fortunately, there's a simple solution for keeping your tablecloth in place. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

Using Tablecloth Weights

1. Clip one weight to each corner of your tablecloth. If you're using a round tablecloth, clip four clips at evenly spaced intervals around the perimeter of the tablecloth.

2. Spread the tablecloth over the table, making sure it's well-centered.

3. Double-check to make sure the tablecloth weights are securely attached to the tablecloth.

4. Select four similarly sized, heavy rocks. Ideally, each rock will have at least one flat surface.

5. Use a hot glue gun to attach one rock to each clothespin, for a total of four rock clips. Allow the glue to dry completely, which could take an hour or more.

6. Clip one clothespin with an attached rock to each of the four corners of the tablecloth. Evenly space the pins around the tablecloth's perimeter if you're using a round tablecloth.

7. Spread the tablecloth over the table.

8. Double-check to make sure the rock clips are securely attached to the tablecloth.
