Book Hotel Reservations At Walt Disney World Resort

For many Disney vacationers, booking the perfect resort stay is part of the excitement.

Walt Disney World Resort hotels offer a variety of amenities and price points to satisfy every budget. They also offer perks that hotels off Disney property can't, such as free transportation to and from Orlando International Airport, free parking at all resorts and parks, resort guest-only extra hours in the parks, an internal transportation system of buses, monorails and boats and dining packages. Choosing the perfect resort can be an exciting first step of the vacation process.

Instructions

Discount Opportunities

1. Check online travel discounters for occasional breaks on Disney resort rack rates before booking directly with Disney.

2. Visit timeshare rental listings on websites such as the DISBoards, where you can rent from Disney Vacation Club owners at heavy discounts. Make sure to do business only with someone you trust. Ask for references.

3. Buy a Walt Disney World Annual Pass from Disney's website or sign up for a Disney Visa credit card. Use their exclusive room discounts to save money when you book.

Booking Online

4. Go to the main page on the Disney World website to search dates, party size and hotel preference. Decide if you want a "room only" reservation or a package, then click "Find Prices" to bring up quotes.

5. Scroll through the search results. Add or ticket, entertainment and/or dining options as desired. Check alternate offers at the top of the page if you want to compare similar resorts.

6. Click on "Select This Offer" to start the booking process. Have your credit card ready to make the reservation deposit.

7. Review the offer summary and edit if necessary by clicking on the button at the bottom. Add travel insurance at this time if you would like, then click "Book Now."

8. Fill in the requested guest information, including billing information and the names of all people in your party, and make room requests. Click "Continue."

9. Apply a $200 deposit or pay the reservation amount in full with a credit, gift or Disney Rewards card. Pay in full if your vacation is in less than 45 days. Agree to the terms and conditions at the bottom of the screen, then click "Continue" to make the reservation official.

By Phone

10. Call Disney's reservations center at 407-939-7675 to speak with a representative, also known as a cast member.

11. Give the cast member your dates and preferences. Be ready to write down price quotes in case you need to talk with your traveling party and call back later. Have two or three preferred resorts in mind because your first choice might not be available.

12. Ask about special offers happening during your anticipated time of stay and compare discounts to find one that works for you.

13. Ask the cast member to help you reserve a package. You can buy your room, tickets and/or dining packages and book airfare at this time.
